The Priory Church of St Mary Magdalene, St Clears

The Priory Church of St. Mary Magdalene is the church of St. Clears. It is well-loved and great care is taken in the upkeep of both the church and the graveyard.  We are an active church both in worship and in the sort of fund-raising events which are essential these days to keep the church in good order.  You would be welcome to join us in our services or in our social activities.  You will find details on the Services and News pages.

St Mary's is one of a group of four churches served by The Reverend Bryan Witt.  The other three are:-

St. Teilo's in the village of Llanddowror
St. Michael's Church, Llanfihangel Abercywyn
St. Gynin's Church, Llangynin

When there are five Sundays in the month, the fifth Sunday is always a parish service at one of the four churches. It is announced at the beginning of the month at which it will be, and our Services page is kept updated with details of that and of other special services at each of the churches.
